Coward (Première)

Belgian director Lukas Dhont's third film, set during World War I, follows Pierre, a young farmer wanting to prove himself at the front, and Francis, a tailor's son tasked with keeping troops' morale high. An emotional story about how art shields people from harsh reality and how love emerges in the most brutal circumstances. The film received a 13-minute standing ovation at Cannes, with both lead actors winning Best Actor awards.
